Last night I met a friend at Naco for a letter-writing date. Post a Letter Social Activity Club happens the second and fourth Monday of the month. It's pay what you can for stamps and stationery. And, boy, is there ever a lot of stationery to choose from! It's a letter-writer's heaven!

making things
I love making things. Collages, cookies, even envelopes. I made this envelope using a Broken Social Scene poster.
My friend Teri made her most recent zine, Places & Things, using vintage Greek stamps. Check out her post about making things.
P.S. I adore this blog dedicated to making all things crafty.

christmas cards
The Christmas cards are in the mail. All 86 of them!
I hosted a little Christmas card writing party just over a week ago. Gingerbread cake, holiday music, lots of rubber stamps and good friends made for a totally fun afternoon.
P.S. One of these just arrived in my mailbox. Sweet!

craft fair weekend
What a whirlwind of a weekend. Five craft fairs in three days! My favourite finds were silkscreened cards from Crywolf. It's the perfect time of year for writing cards and drinking hot chocolate.
