croissant or pretzel?

I have long been a fan of Paris vs New York and was pleasantly surprised when a postcard set was released.  My Italian teacher had some postcards in her stack of papers in class last week.  For me it was instant love!  I zipped over to the bookstore and straightaway bought a box.

good things

1. Warm chocolate chip cookies.
2. A summery Thursday.
3. Bright striped socks.  (Obsessed!)
4. Last shoot of the season.
5. Pancakes and a matinee.  The Sessions.  Perfect rainy Sunday.

motor city

After lunch in Eastern Market on Friday we stopped by Signal Return - an awesome working letterpress shop!  I couldn't pass up these stickers and cards.  This is the place to get the best of Detroit stationery!

good things

1. Detroit.  I've fallen hard for this city.  Seriously.  I'm in love.
2. Motown radio stations.  All the time!
3. We totally bumped into my Italian heartthrob, Jovanotti, on Michigan Avenue!  I now refer to my blue striped socks as my lucky socks.
4. The concert.  Amazing, wild, dance-y, hot.
5. Diego Rivera's industry murals.

Italy
